Ithaca artist Dee Shaun is getting ready to release his first project, “B4 the Rise“ on major streaming platforms April 19th. He sent us a preview to the track “Let’s Ride” and if it’s any indication to the other songs this is gonna be some of his best work.
Well known in the 607, hes racked up over five figures in views on YouTube in the last five months alone and is looking to make a statement this year with his progression as an artist. You can hear the passion he has for his music and his fans reciprocate that.
Dee is not new to showing love to other upstate musicians as he has Ithaca artist Mbusi featured on the project. Hes also worked with Baddnews from Syracuse who was seen on Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow. The two dropped a video to their track “Ball” on YouTube back in January and linked up with Niko Neferis from Off Da Ave Entertainment to film it.
