363 days after the release of his album “Sunsets Over Burning Cities“, Cortland artist Corey Loveless released his second studio album “For….Anyone” on the 18th to great reception from the local community. In a time when news stations are slow to shed more light on the local music scene, Loveless’ release earned him a place on the front page of The Cortland Standard.
“For…Anyone” is a complete in-depth dive into loveless’ world of emotion, pain, joy and overall difficulty of maintaining your mental health in the world we live in. A touchy subject for some and a breath of fresh air for others, depending on what journey you have experienced yourself this album will mean something diffent to each listener.
The overall vibe is one that Loveless has become something of a master at weaving into his music. The ability to convey his thoughts with pure emotion creates human relatability with his words; an art even some of the most professional of musicians have yet to master. Accompanying the album are the visuals to the song “Belief” shot by Schar Studios check it out below.
The 10 track project features amazing production from fellow Dim 136 member Process as well as featuring him on the tracks “Spaceship” and “Death“. Also featured, this time on the song “Son“, is New York City based artist Alonzo Brunn, who might be familiar to fans in Upstate from work hes done with Anthony Kannon, Scaffa, and ChizeMixedIt.
If you havent already be sure to check the album out below, also out on all other major streaming platforms. Dont forget to peep the video for “Belief” and keep supporting your locals!
