Elmira artist K@t has released her latest single “2 Close” on major streaming services. Produced by Dee Blaze the Pyro and featuring Timothy Tramel on the keys, this song is one of her best yet. She is no stranger to working with the Pyro as he produces for her often and the two have teamed up on the same track more than once.
Taking her time and strategizing her approach to releases, this is her first solo single of 2020 and only her second drop so far this year. Her first being the collaboration with fellow Elmiran, Strawhat Super on the track, “Overflowing“. She was also featured on “Real Love” by Waverly artist Ryan Bronson.
Known for catchy songs with high quality collaborations and great R&B vibes, fans cant wait for her much anticipated EP “Blue Eyed Soul“. She hinted at it during the tail end of 2019 and has since stated that it’s nearing release.
Being a female R&B artist from the 607 she gives a great variation to the overall sound in Upstate NY. A majority of musicians in the area are statistically male. K@t stands out as one of the few artists, let alone female artists, to make great music, and cementing her own sound and vibe in the process. All while supporting her collaborators and fans alike.
