Upstate artist Tee Melly is about to release his next project, a 6 track EP called “Dying to Live“. This will be his first project release of 2020 and his first on major streaming platforms, exciting his fans as his last project drop was his debut album “Fledge” on soundcloud in 2018.
Tee Melly is unique in that he not only can rap with some of the best Upstate NY has to offer but he can sing and produce beats as well. Culminating into a strong musical presence with a passion for creation, he has gained the respect of more than a few of his peers in the 607.
Also gaining the attention of the local air waves, WICB radio at Ithaca college hosted Tee Melly on Episode 8 of their “Freestyle Fridays” edition of the stations bi-weekly podcast last month.
He works hard at getting his music heard and takes initiative in doing his own promotion. He hit 607 Sound with the early preview of the EP and its gonna be a sick project.
Featuring vocals from LongLiveDj, a new artist on the 607 Sound radar, and Ithaca hip-hop prodigy Anthony Kannon. On Upstate Aesthetics‘ “The Cypher“, Kannon gave Tee Melly high praise saying,
