Anthony Kannon and Meech Booker, both artists from Ithaca New York, collaborated on one of the highest fan rated projects of 2019 with their 10 track mixtape “Blur“. Astounding fans with the quality of production, every track is made by Binghamton producer Jeremy Hale, aka Chize Mixed It, a very popular Upstate producer.

The reaction to this tape was such that Upstate Aesthetic named them the fan choice album of the year as they received the most votes in a competition loaded with Upstate talent. Several notable artists such as The Miserable Genius, Mr. Mcbean, Slick Fashionz, T.Y Vegas and Sheridan had projects in the running among many other local favorites.

Shortly after the release of “Blur“, Kannon and Meech stayed busy putting together several videos for some of the songs on the tape. Linking up with Niko Neferis from Off Da Ave Entertainment to film the “Tired and “Last Days” visuals, which both have some pretty amazing effects and something all three bring together that makes for entertaining and thought provoking videos.

Its clear that whenever Kannon and Meech get together they mean serious business. High quality production, good replay value, and great vocals not to mention on an experimental level, as Kannon has said alot of this tape was exploring new territory for him. Check it out now on all major streaming platforms and dont forget to support your locals!!
